Hey, Corkie here 👋 I’ve been spending a lot of time at my bench lately, filming little tips along the way—I hope you find this one helpful! I made this tapered bezel from tubing using a 17° bezel block. The top was true, but the base? A bit wobbly. Instead of eyeballing it, I scribed a line around the uneven base for a visual guide, then grabbed my Lindström tapered pliers to hold the bezel (gently!), braced my hands on the bench pin, and filed down to the line. ⚠️ Tip: Go slow, use light file pressure, and check your progress often.
