Here are some clever #diy sanding wheels for your polishing machine from @kathrinjonasilver - “My little bench polishing machine is a sander/grinder at the same time. I make sanding wheels with different grits. these styrofoam wheels i got in indonesia where I was taught. but I think you could get this material in the hardware store and cut it to your fit (it’s easy to sand smooth). or you could get a hard felt wheels. also thought of cork as a sustainable solution. once you have your wheels (I use 3 different grits) they last almost forever. I cut sandpaper strips and glue them onto the wheels (I use craft glue). Make sure it has a tight fit. I suggest allowing it to dry overnight otherwise they can fly off when you turn on the machine. If it’s worn down heat carefully to pull off and replace.” Anytime we discuss polishing wheels I want to stress safety. 1️⃣ SAFETY GLASSES ALWAYS 2️⃣ NO LOOSE CLOTHING AND AVOID WEARING BULKY GLOVES THAT CAN GET GRABBED 3️⃣ TIE YOUR HAIR BACK 💕 Be safe everyone!
