Here is a #diy torch holder from @voidtoform - “Super simple and they work well, I learned how to make one my first day at a new bench in a trade shop I once worked at, start with 5/8” copper pipe and cut a piece off to work with. Near the middleish make a cut almost through the pipe, Then cut a line down the middle of the pipe opposite the bridge you left when cutting almost through. Make the bottom flat, and drill two holes that will fit your screws. Bend those wings back to hold the holder away from whatever. Use a mandrill to open the holder side, untill it fits, I like mine to be snug so it prevents the torch from twisting into an unexpected position and burning me.” Thank you SO much for sharing this simple, inexpensive solution! So rad! #metalsmithsociety #jewelrycommunity #jewelrystudio #jewelersbench
