Here is a little #diy heat sink from @notjustredones - “I solder with a small hand held butane torch so heat control can be tricky. Discovering how to use copper heat sinks for soldering was a game changer. The photo shows the use of homemade copper tweezers being used to both support the pendant and protect it! To create this I bent 14 gauge copper wire that I had on hand. I also hammered the tips flat. You do need to consider you don’t want to place these on am area of your work that has solder on it as it could flow and accidentally solder to your piece!” Thank you for sharing this with us!! If you’d like to share a tip the best way is to send me an email with square format pictures and/or video with a written caption included ☺️🙏 I’m so extremely grateful for all of you showing up and sharing your knowledge! #jewelrymaking #heatsink #jewelrymakingtip
