#sponsored Here is a very important tip on POSTURE at your bench from @wellnessformakers - “How often do you consider your posture at the bench? Did you know that your bench height affects the way you feel? Every jeweler’s ideal bench height is going to be a little bit different than others because we’re all different heights. A good rule of thumb is to have your bench pin in line with the center of your sternum (located in the middle of your chest). In order to achieve this, try using an adjustable-height chair. If you still can’t get to the proper height, don’t be afraid to modify your workbench. You might need to prop your bench up on pieces of wood or bricks. If the bench is way too high for you, you might need to customize it by trimming the legs down.” Guys, when we are working at our benches it can be so heavy on our body, but it doesn’t have to be that way! If you learn how to move well, all of that work can strengthen you in the long term. Did you know that your movements can actually retrain your body to create strength in areas that might be lacking? We all deserve to know more about this. That’s why Missy of @wellnessformakers is offering a wellness course specifically for jewelers called “Precious Movements”. The 1hr webinar, pdf, and audio files will be delivered straight to your inbox!
