  Here is another way to prevent solder from flowing - gouache paint! Thank you for sending this awesome technique @artjewels.ru you can paint it on in the same way you would white out or yellow ochre. IMPORTANT UPDATE* thank you to members of the community who pointed out that paints can be very toxic (as can white out) and should you decide to use this tip please work in a well ventilated area and with a respirator mask!
