If your tools have rust on them use this method from @dangbravegirl - she cleans rust off with a steel wire wheel and then maintains them with Froglube (we shared this in the past but it’s so good we had to mention again) “My steel wire wheel is just a Harbor Freight economy version but very effective for what I need. It is the best for cleaning tools. You can however use the FrogLube directly on dirty tools but I'd recommend letting it do it's work awhile (try 10 minutes and check) before wiping it off. Use will use more product this route then if just coating clean tools. Steel wool would probably also work for cleaning the tools but much more elbow grease involved there.” HUGE thanks to Jamie (did you see that stamp collection?!? 😍) I’m going to link the Froglube in my TOOLS highlights (I already bought some awhile back and started using it on my tools.) The wire wheel is an amazing idea to help get the rust off. Other ideas we’ve shared in the past is using a dehumidifier in your studio and saving silica pouches to store in your drawers 😅 let’s battle this rust once and for all ✊ #peaceoutrust #jewelrytools #jewelrystudio #metalsmith #ladysmith
