@thewildpine - “ I work with a lot of tiny components and found that I was spending entirely too much time digging around in my murky pickle pot trying to pull every little piece out one by one with my tongs. So, I came up with a DIY solution that was easy, cheap and a huge time saver! I saved one of my yogurt cups, cleaned it thoroughly and made sure all the foil was removed so as not to contaminate my pickle. Then, I drilled holes all throughout the bottom to create a mini strainer. Now all I have to do is grab the cup with my tongs, give it a shake and voila!
