@fifthelementjewelry - “Such a simple trick to ball up wire smoothly: heat the wire a couple of inches away from the torch (where the flame is hottest) until the wire starts to ball up. Once your ball has formed nicely, don’t immediately pull it away. Instead, “dunk” it in the blue part of the flame closest to the torch for a second or so. This is the coldest part of the flame which allows the ball to cool off more gradually and thus, helps you avoid pitting and wrinkling of the metal. “ So helpful to see this in action!
