Here is a tool modification from @robincorellart - “I modified these needle nose pliers to hold small bezels for cutting and finishing after they have been soldered to a backing. One of the photos shows me holding a bezel for a 5mm cab while I file the base flush with the bezel.
I used Heat Fence paste, which is a heat absorbing paste available at most welding supply stores, to keep the joint and handles cool while heating and bending one of the jaws. As you can see the oem rubber on the handles is still intact and it was not removed.
The most difficult part is grinding the little foot to fit square to the jaw. It should only be perfect while holding the most commonly used guage you use for the base of your bezels. It will not be perfect when not holding anything. This will prevent the bezel from spinning while filling.” This is such an awesome modification Robin!
