Here is a wax working tip from @northernmint - “I made a lot of rings size 16+ they are huge and I do not always have a mandrel that large nor does my wax reaming mandrel go that big.
So, I cut it out with my wax saw blade and use sand paper wrapped around a pipe. In this video I use a Cooper pipe because that’s what I have on hand but you can find threaded pipe fittings for $2-$6 at the hardware store or I have a habitant for humanity thrift hardware store in the area (Canada) and get various diameter pipe for $0.50-$2 to use on both my sterling silver rings and wax forms. “ LOVE THIS.
