Here is a #diy wire spool holder from @flourishandcharm - “Basically if you’re going to be measuring/cutting a lot of chain, this trick works well! First take a thick wire (or coat hanger!) and thread a spool onto the middle of it. using a pair of pliers bend the wire on either side to lock the spool in, then bend the wire around the edge of your bench, finishing up by bending the wire towards each other leaving an open space. Once secured on the bench the spool will spin freely! The holder should also be easy to snap on and off. That open space you left will allow you to take spools on and off!! BONUS TIP: for a semi-permanent ruler, lay down clear packing tape on your surface, take a sharpie and mark down the measurements of a ruler, and then put an other clear packing tape strip on top! You will have a smooth surface with no physical ruler in the way and it won’t wipe away easier.” YES! Thanks for sharing this with us Nicole, I love this hanger! I am ALWAYS looking for storage solutions and organization for studios and benches.
