Here is a tip to keep multiple projects organized at once from @carryatorchltd - “I try to work on many projects at a time to be the most efficient I can be while I am in my studio. To help keep my workspace manageable, my pieces organized and my sanity, I picked up these triangle bead trays from Amazon. They come in packs of 6 and are fairly inexpensive. I have many of them and have numbered them each with small stickers. I like to use these not only to keep all the pieces intended for a specific item together but they also keep little things from getting lost or rolling off my workspace. At this time I am working on 8 necklaces that all have similar components and stones but they are slightly different in shape and size. As I work on each piece I use my scribe to number my silver with the same number on the tray. I do this on the backplate inside my bezel where no one will see it when it is finished. I then go over it in sharpie so I can see it clearer. Throughout the process of going in and out of the pickle, polishing and tumbling, the sharpie will come off, so the scribed number is my backup. I write the same number on the back on the cabochon with either a sharpie or white paint pen if the back is dark. Overall these trays keep my workspace tidy(er) and keeps me on task enabling me to take multiple pieces from start to finish in a more efficient manor.“ Thank you for sharing your process with us!
