@ajr.jewelry - “To help secure wire for filing a taper prior to drawing down, I drilled a hole in the crotch of my pin at a very low angle, and a long gradual trench out of the hole on the top. I like it a lot more than holding willy nilly with pliers or my hand. If it's gold I hammer the taper to reduce filings if there's enough time, but this is super fast.” Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us! We love
