Here is a wax working tip from @georgiavaridakis - “To cut down on wax carving time for simple shapes, use thin sheets of wax in decorative hole punches. If you are casting alone, use a sheet that fits comfortably in the punch but is at least 1mm in height. The shapes come out clean and you can manipulate them, add texture or use them to add on to other waxes. The negative is also useable for a cut out backing design on stone settings. No need to mold the individual shapes, the hole punch produces the wax for you!” This tip is super fun, I was really excited when Georgia sent it in, thank you!! #lostwaxcasting #makingwaxesforcasting #jewelrymaking
