Here is a tweezer modification from @cherylrydmark_goldsmith - “I love the way this notch prevents small wires from shifting when the flux starts melting. If the tweezer needs to be cleaned up and reshaped I use my belt sander and then start with making a notch with a shallow saw cut and opening it up with a Krause bur. I make a smaller tighter version for soldering fine chain links.” Thank you so much for letting me share this! Tool modifications and reshapes are one of my favorite topics. If you have a tool modification you’d like to share please email me at tips@metalsmithsociety.com with pics and/or video to share. Thank you!! #tweezers #solderingjewelry #tipoftheday
