Here is a stamping tip from @darkmoonsilver - “ When I’m working with a two part “bump out” stamp set, I run into a lot of issues with outside metal warping like in the photo above. I want to share a little tip on how to flatten this so you can be solder-ready after sanding. Take the opposite side of the pair and use the flat side to hammer it back down so you don’t lose your intended form. Hammer the top and shift the metal bar to cover the entire piece. Now you have a flat surface to work with again, this tip saves me so much time at my bench! Hope it helps 💙” Thank you SO much Kelsey, this is super helpful. Always a good reminder that the best solder seams are possible when you have two flush surfaces, this is a great technique to ensure you can solder your decorative elements with no gaps. #solderingjewelry #stampingjewelry #stamping
