A lot of the bigger, fancier tools that we all swoon after require multiple work surfaces (and dollars) that aren’t always an option. Whenever I need to shape something cylindrical I clamp a Foredom hand piece into my bench vise, then secure my piece into the collet. Presto - Baby bench lathe!
