A lot of the bigger, fancier tools that we all swoon after require multiple work surfaces (and dollars) that arenβt always an option. Whenever I need to shape something cylindrical I clamp a Foredom hand piece into my bench vise, then secure my piece into the collet. Presto - Baby bench lathe! Sand and shape by hand or employ a second flex shaft for more rapid results! πͺπΌβ¨β Love this! It can be a really fun way to carve wax for casting as well.
