Here is a #diyplanner idea from @saracarroll_jewelry - "For the past two years I've used a free design/template program to create an abbreviated version of an annual planner to fit my needs. It took me a long time to stumble across these template programs and I think others might find them helpful as well. For 2020 I pulled a free template from Google Docs and for 2021 I have used Canva. People can find these through a quick internet search. I'm also happy to send them links if they reach out. I’m a visual, pen and paper kind of person and it’s been helpful for me to jot down ideas quickly. I’ve created two to three pages for each month to track ideas. I like to include categories such as monthly goals (and include the #metalsmithchallege as a regular goal!), list of important dates, reminders, wish lists, skills to learn, and places to sketch. I then print the pages on cardstock, put in a three-ring binder, and keep at my bench for the year. It's a simple, economical, and effective way for me to stay focused on building my craft." LOVE THIS. It is definitely one of my goals for 2021 to become more organized and I love this idea of creating your own planner to suit your businesses needs.
