Here is a tip for soldering multiples from @mineralandmine - “Recently I wanted to do a whole bunch of solder joins that required a 3rd hand. I only have one 3rd hand, but I have lots of cross locking tweezers (I use item 115580 on Rio Grande, well worth it at just over $2 each). I created a simple setup using solder bricks and the magic of gravity that let me do a bunch of solder joins, assembly-line style -- without turning my torch on and off in between each one. To recreate this: set up your project with the cross locking tweezers holding your pieces, and balance them atop the solder bricks. Cut your solder chips, flux all your pieces, then go to town and do a bunch of solder joins all at once! I LOVE THIS TIP. I just love when people share ways to solder multiple things at once it is great for folks doing production! If you have a production tip to share please email me with pictures and/or video at tips@metalsmithsociety.com.
