This $11 table leg from @homedepot worked like a charm for drilling the holes in the top layer of my formed piece. I love all the curves and surface options of the wood. The square section kept the piece from rolling the way a wooden dowel would have, so why not!? Took great care to keep the drill bit perpendicular to the metal and smooth sailing from there ⚒️” YES!
