Here is a drilling tip from @Loisgore22 - “There are many reasons I prefer using hand tools for bits and burs. The main one being that in my workshops we only work in pricy 22 karat gold and it is easy to recover the gold that spirals out of the bits. Better control and precision is also an advantage. After years of teaching I find this is the preferred method of my students. Organizing and labeling all of my ball burs and drill bits makes hand drilling so much easier and quicker!” Thank you so much for sharing this with us Lois!
