Here is a tip for applying a matte finish from @flourishandcharm - “This tip is for easily making pieces satin/ matte quickly. included attached are videos :)

The only tools you need is pumice powder, a container, soft toothbrush (or fingers!!)and a little water. (I buy my dental pumice powder off amazon and get a superfine grit). Pour some powder into the container. Next I like to add a little bit of water to the container but feel free to just dip your brush in the water, then start brushing your pieces gently using the soft toothbrush and pumice. You should slowly start to notice your surface is becoming more satin and Matte :)

Helpful hint: this doesnt really remove scratches dents or marks so you want to bring your surface up as much as you desire BEFORE doing this matte satin finish. I usually go up to a low-high polish and then do this pumice powder trick. “ Thank you Nicole! I absolutely love a matte finish!
