Here is a soldering tip for when you are soldering something very small to a thicker, bigger piece of metal from @mikeca1216 - “Flow a tiny little amount of solder on each piece separately before putting them together. Then put them together so they are touching, re-flux both and focus the flame on the larger piece for a moment or two. Then move the heat so you are heating both of them together. Solder is designed to melt at a lower temperature than the metal does, so if you have solder on both, and they are touching, the solder will always melt before the smaller piece of metal does.” Thank you for the video Mike!!! I absolutely love process videos from our community! They are so helpful and we appreciate you taking the time to create it! #solderingsilver #makingjewelry
