Here is a polishing tip from @jen_surine - “I’ve been receiving quite a few questions about jewelry clean up, how I clean in tight areas, and where I get my cording for Thrumming. This is a super simple technique that is a game changer for polishing.
I purchased a few different widths of cording by the yard from the fabric store. Secured it to my bench (make sure it’s not close to a flexshaft, buffing machine, or anything where it can get caught in machinery).
I like to burn the ends and then roll them into a point to make threading the cording a little easier, just be careful not to burn yourself.
Load up the buffing compound by rubbing it on the cording and it’s ready to go! To use it pull the cord taught and rub the piece of jewelry against it where you need to polish. It’s perfect for these tight areas and around seats for stones.” Thank you so much for taking the time to create and share this video Jen! It is so helpful!
