Here is a tip for making your own polishers for your flex shaft from @quiettimejewelry - “I needed to clean up the inside of the setting and couldn't find an attachment to do the job, so I made my own. (I'm placing Baltic Amber so I want the silver behind to be shiny.) A small piece of 0000 steel wool wrapped around a small rod helps remove the oxidation/patina from inside the setting. The q-tip applies the wax nicely and another clean one helps buff the silver. You may have to remove some of the paper from the q-tip to get it to fit in the quick change flexshaft hand piece.” This is kind of a two-for-one tip, love it! Applying the renaissance wax (helps prevent tarnish) with a q-tip is a fantastic idea. Steel wool works awesome, remember if you use steel wool and then for whatever reason you need to solder and pickle again…to thoroughly clean so you do not contaminate your pickle with little bits of steel wool.
