Perhaps this is old news, but here's a little trick I use: Both my pickle pot AND Lortone tumbler do not have on/off switches. Instead of plugging and unplugging (or turning that power strip on/off) all the time– I use smartplugs! I control my pickle pot and tumbler from anywhere, at any time, from my phone. You can set daily on/off schedules so your pickle pot is hot before you even sit down at the bench and off so you don't forget and run it dry overnight. I also set my tumbler on a timer, so it can turn off while I'm away! My favorite is the Wyze plug– they're affordable, compatible with Google/Alexa, and Android/iPhone.” Love this!
