Here is a #diy tool that allows you to mark your metal in evenly spaced increments from @rdeschand - “Here is a way to make a simple tool to cut evenly spaced marks like in a bezel or whatnot. You need two razor blades, some spacers (like washers) and some tape. Put your spacers in between your razor blades and tape them together so you can hang onto it and so you don’t cut yourself. Then make a cut in your wire or whatever and put the razor blade in the cut. Razor blades work good because they will fit in really small saw blade cuts. Then use your saw and cut your next mark beside the razor blade, just keep doing this. Please let me know if you have any questions.” This is a neat idea, could work really well for cutting tubing or thick rod. Thanks for taking the time to share Reid, we appreciate it.
