I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with this sunstoneweld Orion 150s Pulse Arc Welder. I am completely new to welding and will be sharing my experiences and journey monthly! Setting this up was very easy and I was working on my practice piece within an hour. The amazing thing about a welder is you can hold two pieces of metal in your hands and fuse them. It really opens up design and repair possibilities that were not possible for me before. I had always wanted to create a fringe of chain on these stud earrings but soldering them was a bit difficult as the chain is hard to hold in place and solder without unsoldering every previous seam… so to be able to make these earrings my first day playing with the welder was a cool accomplishment for me.
