  Here is a bench pin tip from @jennwellsstudio - “Here I’m using an old leather wallet, cutting the outside off and then using that as a cover for my bench pin. You could also use any scrap leather. This allows me to work on pieces at my bench pin and not worry that any of the filings or dust compacted in my bench pin scratch the back of my finished work. I use a rubber band to secure the leather so it can easily be removed or added to my bench pin.” This is FANTASTIC. Love it Jenn and thank you very much for letting me share!
