A wax carving tip from @unmarkedindustries - “These Archimedian spring hand drills are incredibly useful with wax carving. You can use it to pierce large pieces of wax go then slip a saw place in and cut out interior shapes or to get into tight delicate areas. I often use these to drill holes into my handmade beads. Yes I can use a flexshaft for this as well and I do but if you do not have a flex shaft at your bench this is a great alternative.
