I made a flush setting tool from a stainless steel knitting needle and it’s a GAME CHANGER. I picked this tip up watching @lucywalkerjewellery Flush Setting Class, she suggests making one with stainless steel because it will work better when flush setting softer stones such as amethyst. You are less likely to scratch with the stainless steel setting tool than a tool made with a broken bur that is tungsten vanadium (a common material that burs are made from.) it amazes me what I continue to learn watching Lucy’s online classes which is why I’m a proud affiliate. When you sign up through my link Lucy very generously gives back to the page 😄 LINK IN MY PROFILE . Next I will try to demo this thing in action, let me know if you want to see that by commenting!! #knittingneedle #diyjewelrytools #flushsetting #flushsettingtool
