Here is a great bench pin modification from @mklahn - “Use the corner of a square file to carve out a 90° angle notch in your bench pin at the top of the V you use for sawing. Cut through the notch a little bit with your saw, and you can use it to rest tubing or large gauge wire to hold it flat while you saw it. Remember to rotate the wire/tubing while sawing and when you feel the end start to bind, reverse the direction of rotation to free the blade and finish the cut so you don’t break the saw blade. “ Thank you Matthew!
