Here are some of my top tips for welding fine chain with my @sunstoneweld pulse arc welder 🌞 the first is I make sure I brace and anchor my hands. I’m this video I use my finger against the welder to make sure I’m holding the chain steady. This is extra important when you are making contact with such a small jump ring. My other tip is test out your power prior to working on your chain. That way you get a sense of which power to select, I used 2.0Ws but your welder may be a different model and your chain will certainly vary from mine. Probably my best tip is to modify your tweezers. My welder came with a few so I made this pair more narrow and made sure they are flush. This makes holding tiny jump rings a bit easier! Not mentioned in the video but it’s also helpful to work under magnification. Even while you are closing the ring. This will ensure you can see it’s closed and give you a good weld. I really hope this is helpful, I’m several months into my journey with my pulse arc welder from @sunstoneweld many thanks to them for supporting the page and allowing me to make educational content to share with all of you! If there is something you’d like to see or have a question about the welder leave a comment! #sponsored #sunstonewelding #finechain #finechainrepair #chainrepair
