Here is a soldering tip from @seaandsolder - “Do you every stuggle to solder larger bezels to a base?
A little tip that has helped me all through my silversmithing journey is to lift you work slightly off the solder block to help heat your work evenly stopping the bezel heating up before the sheet, it also gives you a better working time with the flux before it all drys off as you will find it all heats up a lot quicker/retains more heat and your solder will flow quicker. You can also use grates, or binding wire nests, or honeycomb as well as many other options but I find this a nice quick and easy method and I’ve always got a pick to hand, no extras needed!” We ❤️ soldering tips like this!
