Here is a texturing tip from @silverandstone_by_liz- “To apply this texture I used the petite 413 Fretz hammer and it performed exactly as I had hoped it would when I tested on copper. Setting up the area for texturing was another head scratcher...I had pear shaped stones and didn’t want my bezel area textured. Sure, I could have textured the whole thing and sanded my bezel area later to ensure good joins but that didn’t sound like fun. So, I used some of my putty that I use for setting up my jewelry photos. I shaped it in the shape of my stone and placed it on my sliver and went to work texturing. It worked wonderfully! The hammer didn’t get stuck in it, it didn’t stick to my silver either. I will definitely use this method again, if the job ever calls for it. I’m happy with how they turned out and am proud of my first textured pair of post earrings!” Thank you for sharing this with us Liz! We appreciate it! #texturingmetal #hammeringtips #fabricationtips
