Here is technique to create a flat area on a ball from @hartleyenough - βI have had the worst time filing a flat surface on tiny silver balls. They flip out from underneath my finger, or I file my finger π so, I started thinking about what I could use to hold it easily, and I glanced at my pliers. I grabbed the tiny ball almost completely with the flat interior edge, while it was sitting on the bench, applied pressure and then flipped it over and used my file to create a nice flat surface.β Thanks for sharing this with us π I love a good sanding tip!
