Here is a riveting technique from @deeravenue -
“I use my miter jig vice to create a head on one side of the rivet. Then I use an old gift card (or credit card) to cut the rivet to measure 1mm above the card and start to hammer. When the rivet is getting lower and wider then I change the card out for tape to finish forming the rivet and protect the stone. The rest is easy. I use a small dap punch to smooth the top of the rivets. Then I sand it and the tape helps to protect the stone during gentle sanding as well. 😊” Thank you for sharing this! The holes in the motor jig are perfect for supporting a rivet 🙌 #jewelrytipoftheday #metalsmithsociety #rivets #riveting #howtomakejewelry
