Love this tip for wax working from
@moonandforge - “I often got metal dust stuck to my waxes when working on them at my bench. This little hack stopped that AND it’s so convenient to wipe your waxes as you go. For those who didn’t know, good old pantyhose is a great smoother for wax, either by itself or with a touch of lighter fluid or orange wash. Using it in this way kept my wax clean and having the end of the hose at my fingertips was easier than having to dig through the mess that is the bench drawer to find it! Just slip it over your bench peg and take it off and store it with your wax carving supplies when done!” This is such a great simple tip! I’m always looking for wax tips 😍 anything to help others.
