BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS 📚 - this was my second post EVER. If you can’t get to a class or workshop or you are in-between or you just want to read up on a particular topic, jewelry making books are a fantastic tool! For the first year I ran the page if someone asked me about a resource or for advice I would google the books I wanted to recommend and copy and paste the links into the conversations. That’s when I realized I needed to create my “Book Recommendations” page on metalsmithsociety.com and my “Jewelry Making Books” list on the Metalsmith Society Amazon Storefront. These pages allow me to share all the books I love (and personally own and use.) in one spot! Here is the original caption for this post -“If you are just starting out with creating a jewelry line ( congrats!!! ) but also go buy @emilieshapirojewelry book on how to do it. I own this book and it has incredible advice in it! She also wrote a book called Creative Wax Carving which I don’t own ( yet ) but I’m excited to get it soon!" I’m happy to report since this post I purchased the wax book and if you want to get into wax carving it is a MUST. I’m always looking for more books to add to my list so I’d love to hear from you all today, do you have a book that really helped you? That you would recommend to our community? Tell us about it below! 👇 #creativewaxcarving #jewelrmakingbooks #jewelrystudent #jewelrymaker #metalsmithsociety #metalsmithing #howtobooks #jewelers
