MOST TALKED ABOUT TOOL - The pipe deburring tool was originally shared back in September of 2018 by @petercat_jewelry - this video of it in action was recently shared by @susanfauman and I wanted to share for all of those people who were intrigued by the tool but weren’t sure how to use it! - “I found using this tool pretty easy. There is a natural movement as you spin the ring around with your fingers because the head of the tool swivels. Similarly to sawing or filing, you don’t want to put too much pressure behind your strokes, really let the tool do the cutting. The tool will take the sharp edge off of your ring in just one pass, but I found that I preferred to slightly adjust the angle and do a second pass around to get a smoother finish. If you find that the tool is sticking a bit or leaving a sort of wavy surface behind it, it might mean that you are pushing the cutting surface too hard against the surface of your ring. I found that I could get about 1/4 of the way around on each pass if I turned the ring smoothly as I rotated the tool. Leaning against my bench pin made this much easier.” Thank you so much for sharing this video Susan! These tools are very common and likely sold at your local hardware store! You can also find it on my “Bench Tools” list on the Amazon Storefront (which is linked in my profile) Who has one? Have you been loving it?
