Here is one technique for creating an indentation for forming from
@ashleyweberdesigns - “Mark a little x or spot on your wood, put it in a vise and hit it a good couple times until you have the indentation that you want. I use a synclastic forming/raising hammer. The end grain of a pine 2x4 is super affordable and soft and great for making your own smaller stakes for forming!” Thank you so much for sharing this!
