Here is a tutorial on making your own tubing from @marta.oms - “Some days ago @metalsmithsociety asked on their stories if somebody wanted to share tips and information about tubing. So I thought that will be a good idea to share you how I make myself the sterling silver tube to create identical bezels for tiny earrings.
Here on photos you can see the steps and the shape of sterling silver I used, in this case 0,5mm thin. I used the madrel to bend it round over the swage block, then I solder it and I filed any excess solder. Then the last step is draw it through your drawplate until you have the diameter you need for the stones. In my case I needed to set stones 6mm diameter so I made it almost 7mm diameter.
I hope this help you and give you an idea of how I handmade most of my pieces and that all the parts are hand builded.

Fa uns dies @metalsmithsociety va demanar a les seves stories si algú volia compartir trucs i/o maneres de fer tubs. Vaig pensar que era una bona manera de compartir amb vosaltres com faig el tub per les boques de les mini arracadetes.
Aquí a les fotos podeu veure els pasos i la forma que ha de tenir la planxa de plata, que feia 0,5mm de gruix. Es fa servir una billa d’acer per doblar la planxa fins que queda rodona del tot, llavors es solden les dues parts i es llima la soldadura sobrant.
L’últim pas és passar-ho per la filera fins que es té el diametre que es necessita per les pedres. Jo tenia pedres de 6mm i vaig fer el tub d’uns 7mm de diàmetre.
