Here is a video on how to use liver of sulfur patina from @emilymarquisdesigns - โHeat water to a boil in a glass or ceramic container and let cool slightly.
Bring to a well ventilated room or outside and put some liver of sulfur chunks in the water and let dissolve.
Note: *boiling water and liver of sulfur produce a noxious gas*
Dip/soak silver jewelry until desired color achieved. I like to use a copper tong for this process.
Rinse jewelry and dilute liver of sulfer before pouring out into the garden as a fertilizer!
Using polish you can remove the high points or allow natural wear to reveal them.
Liver of Sulfur does not patina gold so it can be used to highlight bold contrast.โ Emily teaches jewelry making and if you are in the Connecticut area she just opened a school @marquisjewelryacademy ๐ thanks for letting me share! #patina #patinatips
