Here is one solution for stamping your hallmark or metal type on your piece without bending it from @morrisonmaestudio -“I try to stamp before I put the bezel on the backplate. But that isn’t always possible. More often I will find a dapping punch that fits inside the bezel, wrap it with leather to protect it and place it upside down in a vise. Then place the piece on top of it and the base of the punch acts like a mini steel block so I can stamp.” I love this solution!
