Here is a tip for photographing your jewelry - I use the Elviros light box and a DSLR camera on a tripod. The light box is fully encased with a Velcro flap to insert your camera, this drastically reduces weird reflections on your jewelry. It also has a hole in the top to shoot down into but I haven’t used that feature. I bought white and black acrylic boards you can place inside to photograph on, they are easy to clean and create a consistent background, you can also place paper, fabric or any other photography prop inside this 16” box (which also has LEDs in it.) My tripod allows me to shoot my jewelry with a high f number (aperture) and longer shudder speed without becoming blurry. A high f- number allows you to get your entire piece in focus which makes many photoshop tweaks easier! For more on that google “the exposure triangle” it helped me a lot. I will link both the light box and the acrylic boards in my TOOLS highlights, if you decide you want to give them a try and buy them through my Amazon link I get a little something, but no pressure! I’ve tried a few light boxes and I like this one the best. Thank you to @clairekinderjewelry who recommended hers awhile back.
