#tooltalktuesday I wanted to show off Jett Basic - a fixturing compound. Many people ask what I use to secure my pieces for stonesetting and this is the stuff! As you can see in my slideshow I have a designated hot pot for heating up my Jett set. The reason mine is brown is partly due to the hard water in my studio but brand new, Jett Basic is white. You heat it up and you can use it on a variety of tools. I’ve held a bangle on a bracelet mandrel, I’ve used it in my ring clamp, in the video I’m using my
