Here is a tip to ensure your solder joint is 100% - - have a loupe on hand, I like the ones with 10X magnification. Often times I get messages from members of the community who thought something was fully soldered but it wasn’t (no shame, we’ve all been there 🙋♀️) sometimes it can be hard to see! After you pickle your piece take a look with your loupe and you will know right away if the solder has not flowed entirely. This will save you a lot of time and aggravation especially if you plan to set a stone in a piece, later to find it isn’t soldered all the way. 😩 How do you check your work?
