Here is a technique for polishing your chain (safely) from

It's easy to keep the chain in place and turn around whilst sanding/polishing!" Thank you so much for sharing this! I love the idea! 🙌 Guys polishing chain on a machine or even holding it in your hand and using your flexshaft is incredibly dangerous! You can loose your grip and have it get pulled into the rotation and it can take things with it and it can also whip you. When using this tip if you do use your flexshaft you need to secure the chain you are polishing by holding it firmly! Always wear safety goggles too! If you want to skip the flexshaft altogether you can polish your chain with polish cloths, 3m polishing cloths and sandpaper. Just be careful not to sand too much and weaken the links!
