The theme for February’s
#metalsmithchallenge was HAIR PINS and you all blew me away. I didn’t get a final count on how many submission there were but I know I spent several hours looking at everyone’s posts! Many of the hair pins in this post, were the artists first attempt at a hair pin, and I LOVE THAT. There were also so many interesting mechanisms and stick styles created. The spirit of these monthly challenges is to try something new, push yourself outside your comfort zone and have fun. I am absolutely floored by the incredible pieces created and so grateful for all of you that participate! If you are new to our community (WELCOME) everyone is welcome to submit a piece for the monthly challenge, do be sure to tag me in the actual image (if you tag me only in the caption I may not see it!) Also be sure to check my stories every first day of the month so you can vote on that month’s theme.
